Tax Associate

Job Description

  • Prepare BIR Tax Returns (Withholding Tax on Compensation, Withholding Tax Expanded, VAT and Income Tax) monthly and quarterly extracted from Microsoft NAV.
  • Prepare Quarterly Alphalist of Payees (QAP) for withholding expanded, Summary List of Sales and Purchases (SLSP) for VAT returns and Summary Alphalist of Withholding Tax (SAWT) for income tax return as an attachment for esubmission on BIR.
  • File QAP, SLSP and SAWT attachments to BIR (esubmission@bir.gov.ph) every 25th of the month for quarterly tax remittances.
  • Review HDMF (PAG-IBIG) monthly contributions and loans from HRD, plotting on UPB onehub template for online payment.
  • Review PHIC monthly contributions from HRD, plotting of amount thru PHIC Electronic Premium Remittance System (EPRS).
  • Review SSS monthly contributions and loans from HRD, plotting of amount thru SSS e-service.
  • Monitor monthly payment of government contributions.
  • Prepare RFPs and supporting documents for Business Permits on Cavite and Quezon City for annually and quarterly payment.
  • Check, validate and review RFPs of taken-out sales from Real Estate Mortgage (REM) for old accounts and Finance Department for new accounts.
  • Monitor and reconcile EWT Refunds from PAG-IBIG and RFPs for processing.
  • Encode Creditable Withholding Tax or 1606 Forms to be used on Income Tax.
  • Prepare and manage issuance of office supplies.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by the immediate superior from time to time

Qualifications

  • Willing to be assigned at Quezon Avenue, Quezon City
  • With a Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy or any related field.
  • With at least 1-2 years of experience in a related role
