Payroll Specialist

Job Description:

A payroll specialist is primarily responsible for processing payroll and maintaining company’s payroll system

Duties and Responsibilities include:

PAYROLL PROCESSING

  • Process the regular company payroll with the prescribed payroll processing timelines in time for the payroll payout every 15th and 30th of the month
  • Prepare and submit all payroll related reports to the Finance Department for approval.
  • Prepare and distribute employees’ payslips; both printed and electronic
  • Process any out-of-cycle payroll payments (i.e annual bonus) to employees based on direction given by the Finance Department or the Management
  • Answer any payroll related inquiries received from Finance Department and/or employees

13TH MONTH PAY & OTHER INCENTIVES

  • Prepare 13th month pay and/or bonuses computation of all employees in coordination with the Finance Department
  • Prepare annual 13th month payment summary as per requirement of DOLE

FINAL PAY COMPUTATION

  • Compute final pay of separated employees based on final unpaid attendance of separated employees, prorated 13th month pay, tax refund (if any), unused sick leave conversion, and other identified and approved payables

BIR ALPHALIST and BIR Form 2316

  • Prepare the annual BIR alphalist in coordinate with the Finance Department
  • Submit yearly BIR Alphalist to the BIR
  • Prepare and distribute employees’ BIR Form 2316
  • Prepare and release separated employees’ 2316 together with their final pay
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by immediate superior from time to time.

Qualifications

  • With a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Human Resources Management or any related courses
  • With proven experience of five (5) years in a related field
  • Willing to be assigned in Quezon Avenue, Quezon City
