Job Description:
A Building Engineer is the person-in-charge of the monitoring of all major mechanical/electrical equipment including its accessories and support machinery.
Duties & Responsibilities include:
- Evaluate equipment breakdown and conduct basis mechanical/electrical troubleshooting
- Supervise and monitor the performance of service contractors
- Schedule, implement, and oversee preventive maintenance programs
- Propose electrical and water savings initiative
- Supervise multi-skilled technician to ensure efficiency and smooth operations of technical facilities
- Maintain friendly relations with the unit owners and tenants and ensure that their complaints are acted upon
- Ensure that all house rules and procedures are being followed and strictly implemented
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure that all assigned tasks are properly acted upon
- Follow up the concerned building contractor for any defect/trouble that arises on all equipment/machineries
- Prepare all kinds of forms and log sheets for the building equipment for proper monitoring
- Sign work permits and gate pass for approval
- Assist the property Manager in regular building inspections of the following: Fire Safety, Housekeeping, and Equipment Maintenance
- Keep track of Equipment record file – includes proper documentation and record filing, equipment manuals, PMS route, maintenance checklist.
- Report directly to the Property Manager
- Other responsibilities or scope of work that may be assigned by immediate superior from time to time.
Qualifications
- Licensed Mechanical Engineer
- With a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Willing to be assigned in Tandang Sora Ext., Quezon City
- With at least two (2) years of experience in a related role
